I can't answer your question concerning Prescott Bush and Hitler. However, it is fair to compare the current president with "A great dictator". He has cut off the United States from the rest of the world, and engages our country in a hopeless and sad war that will only lead to larger battles.

He has helped Islam more than Osama bin laden and all of Al Quada combined. He has given them the nation of Iraq, complete with free target practice and training fields. This man is a disgrace to all humanity.

You have a crafty knack for contorting a few facts to portray a scenario far from the truth. First of all, the Union Banking Corporation was a legitimate enterprise that looked promising BEFORE Hitler gained contacts within to misappropriate funds. The fact is, Prescott Bush did NOT invest intentionally to Hitler's rise to power.

Secondly, The Carlyle Group is a group of holdings to include other investments other than the Bin Ladens. Even with the Bin Ladens, however, all but Osama are legitimate businessmen, and they have ostrasized Osama himself because of his radical beliefs.

If investing were held to such scrutiny across the board, no one would be able to invest in any venture as you can always trace some remote connection, no matter how trivial, between legitimate business and someone corrupt.

You make it sound like Prescott Bush encouraged WW2, Nazism and Hitler's regime. That's where the conspiracy theory starts. Prescott Bush did own 1 share of a bank that Nazis used. Only 1 share. This was prior to Hitler's invasion of Poland, which started the war. When that happened, his assets were frozen: he did nothing with them, he couldn't do anything. Also, his son, HW Bush served in WW2 as a pilot, he was shot down in the pacific and spent several days at sea. Are you telling me Prescott had a hand in the war and willingly sent his son into battle? That doesn't add up....

Also: there is nothing wrong with doing business with the Carlyle Group or the bin Laden family minus Osama himself. They are legitimate companies.
