Cory Fairbanks Car Dealership trying to screw me?

Share |

When I leased my car from Cory Fairbanks Mazda in Longwood, FL there was an agreement to set up monthly credit card payments for the car to the dealership. I get a call from Mazda credit union saying they have not recieved payments from me - which means the dealership hasn't been paying Mazda...

What you can do is go to fairbanks show them the paymens you have made. Go to your bank account and look at the checks you have written them print them take it to them. Call mazda then and tell them about what you did. Tell them you have proof that you have paid for the car. They will probably call them and ask them what the problem is. If nothing happens within a week call the to see the status if nothing has happened get yourself a good lawyer.

i've never heard of anyone paying the dealership and the dealership paying the lease. you should always pay the car company directly.

do you have payment records for what you have paid? if so contact mazda, the dealership and yes a lawyer. if they have collected payment but not sent it, that's fraud on the dealership's part. from now on, pay mazda!

car dealerships generally try and screw you, i have a car that was bought new for 55k$ driven for 6k miles and then left in a heated garage for fiften years. after some engine work it runs like new, but i took it too the dealer to get it looked at and it appears they unplugged the drivers side power lock controller and when i asked what happened they said 'well this is why you should get a new car cause stuff like this is gonna nickel and dime you to death. Later like i said i opened the door panel and found a disconnected plug....dealerships make money by ripping you off

..

I wouldn't have finance throug the dealership....that's where the prob started. They make money off that. Tell them you and your lawyer will be at the dealership to sort this out

Edit: Have you seen the withdrawals off your card from the dealership??

you need to go in person and get statements...and call the dealership and cancel that way of payment and pay your own payments. Tell whomever is not paying that your attorney will be contacting them if this doesnt get straightened out...never let any bank take payments out of your account never lose control of your finances ever ..I learned the hard way..now they take it out even if I cant pay it.

If you don't have that in writing, and there's no way you do because you are not allowed to use credit cards like that, you are screwed. You can take them to court if you have it in writing. Otherwise, save your time. You're paying either way, what's the big deal?
