Brother stole my bank card?

Im 19 and i have a 13 year old brother. he went and stole my bank card, put it back without me noticing, and had been ordering things offline with my card since he was expelled from school. I ended up reporting the card stolen and told the bank and they said that they would investigate it to see if they can give...

if they find you that a relative stole your card you won't have a claim. If the bank finds out that anyone knew your PIN number you wont get your money back. In the eyes of the bank,it could be a scheme set up by you that your card gets "stolen" and your brother buys sweet **** and then you get the money back. To them its like you just got a bunch of free stuff.

Not much you can do unless there is a way to press charges against him. You would have to file a police report. The thing is, when the bank sees the charges were made from where you live (sounds like you still live where little brother is) they may not grant you any sort of refund.

What was he buying? Is there a way to return the stuff and get a credit that way?

Sounds like if he is expelled from school and stealing peoples cards to go on shopping sprees, it might be some time for military school or lockdown. LOL

Stop supporting your brother's criminal behavior, he will continue to escalate unless you and your parents do something about it to get him the help he needs.

You are asking the wrong question, it's not... "...to see if they can give me my money back." What you should be asking is... how can I cancel these online orders and how can I return the items to get credit back and how do I collect the remaining balance from my thief of a brother and how do I secure my wallet so this doesn't happen again.

Ask better questions and you'll have a better life.

You can file a police report and press charges on your minor brother, of course that means that your parents would be financially responsible for him.

Kate and Noodle as usual have some good thought. Unless you are willing testify that your brother is a thief the CC when it discovers it was your brother are going to reject your claim which they should and you will have to pay. The question is do you have proof it was your brother, are you going testify against him in court?

Your criminal brother will not stop until either you or your father has the guts to put in a police report so he gets some time in a juvenile facility to make him grow up

Call the police and let them put the fear of God into him.
