A money order is not valid over $1000 and I assume that you are expecting more than that, so I would recommend that he get a cashier's check and send it to you via certified mail. If you are well known at the bank then there's a chance that a teller or someone in customer service will be able to make the deposit for you without disclosing your bank info to the buyer. They may require a letter or something but I don't for-see it being a big problem. Your best bet is to call your bank and let them know the circumstances and I'm sure they'll do whatever it takes to help you. Hope this helped you and have a safe and happy holiday!

He should go to the Cashier and get them to prepare a money order; and let the bank mail this directly to you.

I work at a bank. I have no idea what you are asking. Please get someone to help you rephrase your question.
