Banks in Hope, KS

Hi

Banks can take a few days to show a withdrawal or payment amount but there should be something on there showing the date you withdrew the money. It could be that this is a stand alone machine you are using rather than a bank owned one so it takes longer for them to pass the information to your bank?

I worked as a trainer for a bank for 6 years.

Hope that helped

Yes, it is. If the money was withdrawn at a weekend, then this is usually when dates are a bit awry - it tends to be shown as taken off on the Mondays date (say Saturday was the 15th, you take money out the ATM on Sat 15th. It would show up on your statement as being the 17th). This is simply because the banks are closed at weekends. Same will happen on Bank holidays, the date on the statement will be the Tuesdays date instead.

It is annoying, though. The amount of times I see this, I know I hadn't been to the ATM on the Monday and yet it says I had. Takes me a few moments to figure that was the Saturday withdrawal!

Yes.it depends on when it goes thru a pament cleAring centre. Link atm can be slow to update especially if that is not your own bank atm. Always get a balance slip and deduct future spending as debit. Card transactions can be delayed too.
