"The Bank of China" sounds more natural in English than "China Bank" which sounds like a bad translation although "Chinese Banks" in the plural sounds natural. "University of (placename/city)" is the usual formal title of universities but "(person's name) University" eg. Liverpool John Moores University is the usual form. The formal title of the British universities Cambridge and Oxford is "University of Cambride"; "University of Oxford" but informally and far more common is "Cambride University"; "Oxford University" or just "Cambride"; "Oxford". I don't think there are any set rules on usage but "University of X" sounds the most formal and natural.
