DO NOT BANK WITH S & T BANK!!!! Their policies prey on consumers and their customer service is awful.
I had an incident where I was overdrawn, they continued to let me use my check card for small purchase ($3 here and $10 there). All in all they charged me $32 11 times for a total of $352! I was less than $100 overdrawn and had more than enough in my savings to cover it. When I tried to call and talk to someone about it from S & T, they ignored my calls. Only when I told them I had filed a complaint with the better business bureau did they return my calls. After this I found out they do have overdraft protection, but it $9 a month and $6 a transaction.
If you cash a bad check, they will charge you a $7 dollar fee (how do you know it is a bad check?) Also, their online banking is not as good as their competitors.
Other banks offer this service for a much better rate and have better service. If you are eligible for a credit union, they offer this service free and have much better rates and services. Don't risk keeping your money with these guys, stay away.
