PNC is a pretty good bank, but if they are not explaining fees to you, you need to find another bank.
Try credit unions and small regional banks.
One note: Their online service may not be as great.
And some don't operate after hours or on weekends.
They also many not have as many ATM locations.
Their fees on overdrafts are usually smaller, but they will still charge them...
