NEVER send money to get a prize.....

SCAM
All you are going to win is an empty bank account and more trouble than you ever dreamed of. If you want to bother, forward the fraudulent email to [[email protected]], [[email protected]], and [[email protected]].

First off, have you ever played an Australian lottery? More then likely not. Second if you've won something, why should you have to pay for it? Third the Nigerian Lottery scam is probably the most known scam to date. If something is too good to be true, it usually is. Good Luck!

Yes. In fact send them 700$, sometime they will give you double the money if you do that.
I'm tired of these getting posted all the time. Money doesnt come from no where. Everyone is out to get a free buck. NO you didnt win anything. You didnt pay to play anything. It's a scam and 99% of internet users are aware of this.

Absolutely not. Why would they need money from you if you won the lottery. Watch Dateline NBC, they've done specials on these kinds of scams. Here's a rule of thumb: don't give anyone money who makes first contact. that goes for people who walk up to you in the mall, car dealers, internet scams, and telemarketers. If you didn't ask for it, you don't want it.

Do NOT send the money!!! This is a gimmick and they will TAKE your money. I've received these emails too and I saw on the news that it is a TRAP to take your money. You can probably search on Yahoo! to get more info about this scam.

It is a scam. Scam Scam. Call and ask your bank. Anytime someone asks for funds in order for you to win something free, you are being scammed.

Please dont fall for this..it is a scam. If they contact you again tell them to take the transfer fee out of your winnings and send you the balance.
