Google may not mind, but your bank will not accept the cheque if the name on it is not the same name as that on your bank account!
A minor difference may be OK (eg if your bank account name says John Albert Smith and your Google account says John A Smith) but if it's completely different, you won't be able to bank the cheque or use EFT.
