If you are that worried about it then I would consider closing that account and opening a new one.
Considering you shouldnt have to give your bank account details such as account # when you join, this is definately a cause for concern. If it were me I would close that account.
I would also call Avon and let them know that this person (give the name) asked for detailed bank information.
Better to clear it up even if your parents find out than have someone steal your account/money/identity. It would be far better to call them.
i have been an avon rep for 18 months now and i was NEVER asked for bank account details, simply because all the money you get is from what you sell and collect payment for. they will tell you on your invoice when your order arrives how much you have earnt and unless you have ordered goods for yourself then you just keep the amount it says from the money you collect.
Even if you pay your money in online it still doesnt require you to hand over your account details to them.
