Members receive low-fee products and services. WESTconsin Credit Union employees hosted fundraising events that raised more than $40,000 to aid community nonprofit organizations in 2004. The credit union began as Menomonie Farmers Credit Union in 1939. Its primary membership was the Menomonie farming community. Through the years, it merged with other credit unions and membership grew to include a variety of occupations in western Wisconsin. In the summer of 1990, the name to WESTconsin Credit Union.
