Bell Mortgage in Burnsville, MNMinneapolis-based Bell Mortgage began offering home mortgages 130 years ago. Its founder, David C. Bell was also a Hennepin County Treasurer. Today, the home-grown company has 22 locations nationwide. Nearly a dozen independent mortgage loan officers work at the Burnsville office. For 30 years, the company's current owner and CEO, Gary Kirt, and his employees have been a great example of how local companies give back to the community.
