What are the 19 banks that have taken the stress test.?

I have looked and have a good idea of who most of the banks are under the stress test, but does anyone absolutely know numbers one through 19? Please list them if you know.

Thank you in advance.

This will mostly likely be the19 largest banks.

JPM (includes BSC, WM)
BAC (includes CFC, MER)
WFC (includes WB)
C
NYB
GS
MS

The rest are regional or super regionals. We don't have very many major banks anymore.

The whole stress test is nothing more than a "political feel good" PR event.

The gov has said that no bank in the stress test will fail.

Well, what is the point of taking a test if no one could fail it? Why bother taking the test?

Answer: They have to. It is all about the gov, the FED, the FDIC, the Treasury making people (consumers and investors) THINK - that things are better now. Let's hold hands, light the candles and sing songs while drinking the Kool-Aid.

Admittedly, the Treasury has said that some banks may need more "assistance."

This means bailout, aka, more capital, choose the semantics, the banks need more money, including but not limited to Wells Fargo in my view because of Wachovia's ridicules (top of the real estate market) 2006 purchase of Golden West. This was part of the reason for this bank failure and subsequent takeover by WFC, who WFC now has Wachovia's problems.

Now for the funny part...

The reason why we would have a "bank stress test" is to determine whether or not a bank has financial problems? Oh, really? You mean the last 2 years was not obvious enough to determine that banks were effectively insolvent? NOW, they want to have a test to determine their financial stability?

This is a lot like saying...

"Well, 90% of the building has been burnt in the fire, but we should look at the blue prints and determine where we should install smoke detectors."

So if one thinks that the Obama Administration is going to have so called true "transparency," including on this ('everyone will pass' the) bank "stress test," they have a rude awaking coming. The US Gov is not going to tell the public what the TRUE (transparent) picture of what banks really look like for one good reason:

They (the US Gov) does not want to reignite the panic in the financial, banking, and credit markets.

How do you avoid financial panic?
Tell the world that every bank is fine, passes the test, that some "assistance" may be required for some banks, but don't go into any details on that. It will be the un-event of the year. That is what we are all going to hear. Watch.

These aren't breathing techniques but I would liek to share with you how I deal with stress. I dont know if you are a female or a male.. but if you are a female, this may help. I take hot baths and just lay there in the water. The heat relaxes my body and calms my emotions down. Also, I take time out for myself to relieve my stress. For example, I have a little foot bath massage thing.. so I soak my feel and clean them and then I paint my toes. Just something as little as that relieves my stress.
Hope this helps :)
