Do nothing. This is a scam.
1. Did you send them a letter? I'll bet you didn't.
2. Do you know someone called "Recheal Evra"? I'll bet you don't.
3. The email contains several errors. Stephen Hester has never been "Foreign Operational Director", and in any case he no longer works at RBS.

SCAM for so many reasons
1 - that is NOT a Royal Bank of Scotland phone number. It's a Nigerian scam phone number http://joewein.net/blog/2009/11/08/d...
2 - That is NOT a Royal Bank of Scotland email address. ALL emails are from @rbs.co.uk -- NOTHING else. Why would Royal Bank of Scotland use a free AOL address?
3 - As already mentioned Stephen Hester has NEVER held the title of Foreign Operational Director, and he doesn't even work at RBS anymore.
4 - There is NOBODY named Mrs Florence Richard working for Royal Bank of Scotland

This is a scam - report it to whichever agency in your country investigates internet crime

I love Mr Darcy!

This is a scam.
It is a way of getting your bank details to commit fraud.
No London phone number has 701 at the beginning.
The Royal Bank Of Scotland would never send an Email like this.

Contact the Cyber Crime unit of your country to verify if the email is genuine or not. If the sender of the email asks for money in the form of fees, services etc,. it is a cyber scam. be careful.

Allan

It is just another variation of the Nigerian Scam, also known as the 419 Scam. Do not respond, do not send any money.
