Do any banks have a free change/coin machine?

i just realized i've collected almost 70 pounds of change over the last few years.... do you know of any bank that offers a free coin/change machine service (if you need to be a customer i don't care, i'll just open an account).... because i'd hate to give away 100 bucks or more just for the service...

Unfortunately, banks do not offer coin-counting machines for their customers. You can either purchase a coin-counting machine in a store, or make use of coin-counting machines that are available in some grocery stores. Coin-counting machines in grocery stores will keep a specific percentage of the total of your coins as a fee for using the machine.

I don't know if you have Safeway supermarkets where you are, but there are coin counting machines in the Safeways here. If you get cash, there's a 3% fee. BUT, if you get a gift card, you get 100% of your money. I like to get an Amazon gift card, because I know I'll use it eventually. I think they do PayPal, too - I don't know if it's at 100%, though.
